Parking Outside College Grounds
Friday, 21st May, 2010
If you bring or collect your child to and from school by car may I ask that you do not drive into the College grounds at the busiest times (between 8.30 am and 9.15 am and again, between 3.30 pm and 4.15 pm). The large number of buses and taxis that arrive leads to heavy congestion at that time and we are concerned about the safety of our pupils.
Please drop or collect pupils outside the College grounds by making use of the Community Centre opposite the College, which has ample parking. Pupils can access this easily via the pedestrian entrances.
I have been asked by the Parish Council to request that at the busiest times of the school day parents/carers do not park in the lay-by near the entrance to the College. This will alleviate the congestion of cars which is causing an inconvenience to nearby residents.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support in this matter.
