Business Studies
A single GCSE Business Studies Course, on two option blocks for maximum choice with Foundation and Higher levels to suit all abilities.
The exam in Year 11 carries 75% of the marks with 25% from a single piece of coursework.
Pupils study accounting and finance, marketing, documents and many other areas that will be great benefit to all careers. Lessons are in the hi-tech Business Suite, all written work is word-processed.
Wherever possible, studies are illustrated with real-life examples from local and national case studies and visits to relevant businesses will be organised.
All pupils are required to start their own business.
