Modern Foreign Languages
All pupils are taught French from Year 7. In addition to this, one group of pupils study both French and Spanish from Year 8. French and Spanish are both offered as Options in Year 10 and Year 11.
Every year we have a Foreign Language Assistant, (FLA) working in the Modern Foreign Language department who helps our pupils practice their speaking.
Last year we organised a day trip to France with the entire Lower School (Years 7, 8 and 9) as well as a residential four day trip to France for our GCSE pupils.
Next year we are hoping to arrange a trip to France and to Spain.
