News Update 2nd February 2012
Our progress towards the School becoming an Academy from 1st March continues. I am grateful to Governors and Caroline Driver (Business Manager for the Stradbroke Pyramid of Schools) for the work they have undertaken behind the scenes to meet this deadline.
Despite the change of name to Stradbroke High School, I would like to confirm that the uniform will not change for our current pupils.

Progress towards the School becoming an Academy from 1st March continues. We are grateful to Governors and Caroline Driver (Business Manager for the Stradbroke Pyramid of Schools) for the work being undertaken behind the scenes to meet this deadline.
On Monday afternoon we welcomed Amelia Reynolds, a former Stradbroke High School pupil, who joined us for a talk with pupils about her media role before a questions and answers session.

Our progress towards the School becoming an Academy from 1st March continues. I am grateful to Governors and Caroline Driver (Business Manager for the Stradbroke Pyramid of Schools) for the work they have undertaken behind the scenes to meet this deadline. Despite the change of name to Stradbroke High School, I would like to confirm that the uniform will not change for our current pupils. Last week the Department for Education issued data running to three sides of A4 paper for each secondary school. Although I was very pleased at the outstanding outcomes for our most able pupils (placing us first in the county), the changes made within the school will see significant progress for all pupils in future years. If anyone would like further clarification regarding the Department for Education data, please do not hesitate to contact me. We are looking forward to welcoming Dr Daniel Poulter on Friday 2nd December. Dr Poulter will meet with a group of Year 10 and Year 11 pupils to speak about our political system and give them an opportunity to ask questions on matters that interest young people today.See More

News Update
I would like to remind you that the school will be closed to pupils on Wednesday 30th November, due to national industrial action organised by trade unions concerning changes to the pension schemes of their members.On Thursday 8th December at 7pm, we are holding our Christmas Concert. Tickets are available from the school office or on the door on the night.Along with a number of our feeder Primary Schools, we are holding our Carol Service at Stradbroke All Saints Church on Tuesday 13th December at 6pm. Christmas lunch is being served to pupils and staff on Thursday 15th December. If your child/children would like to have a Christmas lunch and have not returned their reply slip, please ensure that this is returned to school by Friday 2nd December at the very latest.Thank you for your continued support.
